Steve has owned Contemporary Business Solutions, Inc., an accounting, payroll and tax CPA firm, since 1995. He specializes in the accounting and tax strategies for privately held companies. Steve was an adjunct faculty member at Otterbein University teaching courses in managerial accounting. At Otterbein, Steve was selected to implement and teach a prototype accounting and finance course to McDonald’s franchise consultants. Steve was formerly the Chief Financial Officer at Salvi’s Restaurant Group/Winchester Farm, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. While with the Salvi’s/Winchester group he was responsible for the accounting, cash management and tax planning of seven separate companies. Prior thereto, he worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP for over six years. At Deloitte & Touche, Steve advanced to Audit Manager responsible for the supervision and delivery of consulting, tax, audit and other accounting services to a variety of privately held clients. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Miami University in Accounting.
